The location of the hotel is stunning, just off beautiful gardens and beautiful countryside and the Rose and Crown pub. The staff is amiable, as well as host. Double room is new-fashioned, has a big bathroom.

The hotel was fantastic and stunningly beautiful, we recommend it to anyone. The staff was affable and phenomenal, always there to help. The location was marvellous, so close to a hill overlooking a beautiful area, Ackroyd House, and local pub. Besides, the property was 2 km away from Church of st George.

The valley view room was tastefully decorated and equipped with thoughtful extras. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and Jane catered to special dietary needs.

Ackroyd house was an amazin getaway, really comfy room with a great view of the valley. Jayne was super friendly. Breakfast was delish, like, so many choices. The grounds are well kept and perfect for a stroll. We had a really chill time here!
The location was a bit tricky to find at first and we had some trouble with the sat nav. We wished there were more options for dinner nearby.

Fine views and thoughtful touches
Jane was a good host, laid out elegantly and served at our own table overlooking the countryside. It was a nice experience, and the only minor downside was figuring out the access at first.

We enjoyed amazing views from our room and took advantage of the lovely hiking trails nearby with the kids. The personal touches like the cozy bathrobes, and Jane's hospitality was second to none.
My wife says that more family activities would be great.

Charming atmosphere with personal touches like a decanter of sherry and hot water bottles. The extensive tea and coffee options were good. Sleeping in the suite was heavenly, and the warm welcome. Just a bit tricky to locate initially, but worth it.
